It has finally dawned upon me, after flipping through Marie Claire’s September edition in North America, why the Olsen twins brandish tight-lipped smiles:
When you have made a career out of smiling like the cheerful, ignorant monkey performer part they created for you, the choice of not having to display a toothy smile, on cue, is positively liberating.
And it is.
